Tissot Le Locle
Founded in Le Locle in 1853, Tissot has more than 170 years of Swiss watchmaking history. The Le Locle collection is named after the brand’s hometown in the Jura mountains and was introduced in 2003 to mark Tissot’s 150th anniversary. Today, the collection includes automatic watches for both women and men, combining traditional design details with a variety of sizes, colours, straps and bracelets.

Tissot Le Locle Watches – Classic Design for Women and Men
Tissot Le Locle watches are designed primarily as classic dress watches. Depending on the reference, the collection includes stainless steel and two-tone designs as well as models with PVD-coated elements. Stainless steel bracelets and leather straps provide further options for different styles and occasions.
Traditional details are central to the Le Locle design. Many current models feature Roman numerals, the distinctive Le Locle signature and textured dial decoration. Depending on the reference, additional features include a date display, sapphire crystal and a transparent case back that reveals the automatic movement.
Tissot Le Locle Powermatic 80
The Powermatic 80 movement is an important feature of the current Le Locle collection. Selected men’s models combine a 39.3 mm case with a Swiss automatic Powermatic 80 movement offering up to 80 hours of power reserve. This allows the watch to continue running for more than three days when fully wound, even if it is not worn during that time.
Current Le Locle Powermatic 80 references are available with different dial colours, stainless steel bracelets or leather straps and a variety of case finishes. Selected models also feature Tissot’s patented Nivachron™ balance spring, designed to provide increased resistance to magnetic fields.

Tissot Le Locle Watches for Women
The Le Locle collection also includes automatic watches designed for women. Current models include cases around 29 mm in diameter, providing a more compact alternative to the larger men’s references. Depending on the model, features include Swiss automatic movements, sapphire crystal, date displays and stainless steel bracelets in silver or two-tone finishes.
The women’s and men’s Le Locle models share the collection’s traditional design language while differing in size, dial details, finishes and movement specifications. These variations make case dimensions, power reserve and individual features useful points of comparison when choosing between references.
